Richard Larson, BA, ICADC, CADC II ~ Sr. Instructor, CDC Program Our Senior Instructor for our daytime CDC Course is Mr. Richard Larson, BA, ICADC, CADC II. Richard is a Level II Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II) with CAADAC and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) with the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).Mr. Larson has a strong clinical and instructional background; he has spent years counseling patients as a Drug & Alcohol Counselor, as a Clinical Supervisor, and as Treatment Program Director in both social and medical model residential treatment settings. Mr. Larson's experience and his passion for the Chemical Dependency Counseling field make him an invaluable asset to Centaur and to our students' education as future counselors.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it Scott spent 25 years in the financial services industry where he worked for the largest firms in the world in executive management positions. Scott's last position was as Vice President and Senior Investment Specialist for Credit Suisse Asset Management in N.Y. He has worked as a Primary Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator and Program Director with several dual diagnosis treatment centers in Orange County, California. Scott is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist from American Pacific University where he studied pre-med at BYU. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Utah University in Education, and Physiology and Health, and graduate studies in Alcohol and Drugs from the University of Utah, and he studied Chemical Dependency Counseling at the Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies.
