Chemical Dependency

This program prepares the student for various environments and populations related to employment focusing on recovery.
Students receive instruction in:

Addiction Physiology & Drug Pharmacology

12 Core Functions of Counseling

Advance Counseling Theories and Techniques

Ethics, Special Populations and Other Treatment Issues

Practicum and Counseling Competencies

Internship – 255 hours

Students are required to participate in the internship and practicum portion of the program after the 12 week course to graduate and test for certification with CAADAC.

This program is approved by CAADAC and adheres to their standards for education and required experience.

Qualified students are provided graduation certifications and membership documentation for applying to take the certification exam.

This program has open enrollment bi-weekly and maintains a small class size to ensure each student the best education environment available. This program is also offered online and begins every month.
